Ingram, who has finally showed the talent and consistency that the Saints expected when they drafted him four years ago, is dealing with a shoulder injury. He was a full participant in practice all week, however, so its likely that he'll suit up on Sunday and pace the Saints running attack. Though he missed three games earlier in the year with a broken hand, Ingram has 767 yards and six touchdowns this year, averaging 4.5 yards per carry. Against a Carolina defense that allows 116.8 rushing yards per game, don't be surprised if Ingram has another big game this week.
Corner back Keenan Lewis, a starter on a Saints defense that has struggled this year, has been dealing with a knee injury the past few weeks and did not practice on Wednesday. He was a limited participant on both Thursday and Friday, however, and will likely be ready to go on Sunday. Lewis has 30 tackles and an interception on the year.
Ingram's backfield mate Pierre Thomas continues to recover from rib and shoulder injuries first sustained in a week seven loss to the Lions. Thomas missed the first four games after the injuries, but has played in the last two. While being a limited participant in practice this week, expect him to play this week and reprise his role as the main receiving back. Thomas is tied with Travaris Cadet with 34 catches on the year.
