The Philadelphia 76ers are 17 games into the 2014-2015 season and have yet to earn their first victory following a 109-103 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Monday. Michael Carter-Williams lead the 76ers with 24 pints, 11 rebounds and seven assists in the losing effort. On the injury front, Nerlens Noel was out of the lineup with a hip injury and is currently listed as day-to-day.

As reported by Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Noel was a late scratch for last night's game. His injury occurred on Sunday when he was hit with an elbow in the hip by Hollis Thompson. Noel has missed three games this season and coach Brett Brown said Noel is currently day-to-day.
“It’s day-to-day. It kind of surprised me that he wasn’t going to be able to go. He tested it, and he pulled himself [back] into practice [Sunday]. We sat him. He said let me go. So I respected it. “
Should Noel miss any time, expect Brandon Davies, Henry Sims and JaKarr Sampson see additional minutes at power forward and center.

Noel, in his first NBA season out of Kentucky, is averaging 7.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.6 steals, 1.6 assists and 1.3 blocked shots per game. He missed all of last season with injury and averaged 10.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.4 blocked shots per game in his only season at Kentucky.
