Roethlisberger told Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that there is "absolutely nothing wrong" with his wrist, while also disputing a report he is dealing with a broken bone.
The Steelers officially listed Roethlisberger's practice absence on Wednesday as "not injury related", which seems to convey no concern about his status for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Even if he does not practice the rest of the week, which can't be ruled out, Roethlisberger should be available for a game that is shaping up as critical to Pittsburgh's chances to earn a playoff spot.
If Roethlisberger happens to not be able to play on Sunday, or has to leave the game at any point, Bruce Gradkowski would be in line for his first regular season action since 2012 with the Bengals.
