As reported at Rotoworld.com, Thomas has missed the last five games with an ankle injury, and while he was hopeful to play tonight against the rockets, he's status remains up in the air. Thomas appeared to have aggravated his ankle on Thursday and sounds as though he wont be ready for the game.
"It's slowly getting better, but it's not good enough to play. I can't jump off one foot yet. Once that comes back, I'll be able to play."Should Thomas be unable to go tonight, expect Eric Bledsoe to get the bulk of the minutes at the point with Tyler Ennis as the backup.
Thomas, in his fourth NBA season, is averaging 15.5 points and 4.1 assists per game this season. The 25 year old point guard out of Washington has played for the Kings and Suns and has career averages of 15.4 points and 4.8 assists per game.
