I reported on November 25 that Lee, who has only played a quarter of the first game before aggravating a hamstring injury, was likely out until December.
An update on Lee, as reported by Larry Hartstein of CBSSports.com, is that coach Steve Kerr said that Lee will return to the lineup next week. The report to the Bay Area News Group it's uncertain whether Lee will return on Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves or on Wednesday against the Houston Rockets.
Draymond Green and Marreese Speights have done an excellent job picking up the slack in Lee's absence. Green is averaging 12.5 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, while Speights is averaging 12.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
Lee, in his 10th NBA season, scored six points on 3-of-4 shooting in seven minutes of action. Last season, he averaged 18.2 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. Lee has played for the Knicks and Warriors and has career averages of 15.2 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists, in 647 games.
