The Golden State Warriors improved to 15-2 on the season following a 98-97 win over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday. The back court of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combined for 42 points for the Warriors. On the injury front, forward Draymond Green injured his left thumb, but stayed in to log 34 minutes. He's getting an MRI on his thumb and is considered day-to-day.

Diamond Leung, who covers the Warriors for Bay Area News Group, confirmed Green's MRI with this tweet.  added that Green probably will be able to play tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans considering the fact that he played through the injury on Tuesday. Green is still considered day-to-day until the results of the MRI are revealed. Should Green miss any time, expect Marreese Speights to get the start in his absence.

Green, in his third NBA season out of Michigan State, is averaging 12.4 points and 7.2 rebounds in nearly 31 minutes per game this season. In 178 career games, all with the Warriors, Green is averaging 5.3 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
