Cubs right-hander Edwin Jackson left Thursday night's 13-3 loss to the San Diego Padres with cramping in his pitching hand, reports Carrie Muskat of MLB.com. Jackson, who allowed seven hits and five runs (four earned) in five innings, has experienced the condition previously but has not missed a start. Rumor has it that the last-place Cubs are looking to trade Jackson and his 5.68 ERA. Outfielder Justin Ruggiano is dealing with a tight groin that has kept him out since Tuesday. Manager Rick Renteria siad he was feeling better on Thursday.
